The Construction Technology Building
AVA’s Role: Anil Verma Associates, Inc. (AVA) provided support as Project Coordinator for LATTC Bond Projects.
Description: Construction of a four-story building located between Grand Avenue and Olive Street, and between 21st and 23rd Streets. The building will support offerings in construction, maintenance and utility programs. The new facility will integrate programs in the pathway such as architectural drafting, programmable logic control, powerline mechanic and solar installation that are currently located in other buildings on campus. This facility is intended to provide modern, efficient and compliant physical resources to replace those in the current building (Sequoia Hall) which is over 47 years old. Sequoia Hall (Formerly Building B) will be demolished following occupancy of the new building.
- A 160,000 sq. ft., 3-story LEED Gold building with modern classrooms and laboratories.
