AVA’s Role
For this project, AVA performed analysis of the existing roof and HVAC equipment, site investigation, a preliminary engineering study, investigative report, and construction cost projection breakdown. In addition, we prepared drawings to replace the Roofing, Parapet Wall, three large HVAC Units and associated systems, electrical systems, and new HVAC controls for the facility.

Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) needed assessment and recommendations regarding the conditions of the Imperial Avenue Division Facility Administration Building Roof/HVAC equipment. IAD Bus Transit Facility – Building No. 1 consists of a 2-story building with concrete exterior constructed between 1971 with tentative improvements in 1985 and 1998.
