Anil Verma Associates is proud to share that the City of Goleta and the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments (SBCAG) will hold the ribbon-cutting and grand opening of the new Goleta Train Station at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2026, at 27 S. La Patera Lane in Goleta. Serving as prime consultant and project manager, AVA led the station from conceptual design through construction documentation—including station architecture, landscape design, signage, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering.

Located alongside the existing Amtrak platform on the LOSSAN rail corridor, the new full-service station strengthens connections among passenger rail, bus transit, the Santa Barbara Airport, and UC Santa Barbara while adding new bicycle and pedestrian facilities. Senate President pro Tempore Monique Limón and Assemblymember Gregg Hart are expected to join local and regional leaders for the celebration.
